Anonymous said: I just started running last spring, so I haven't really had to run yet in winter weather. I love running outdoors, hate it on a treadmill, and I live in NYC. I was wondering what you wear in the winter to run outside, because I don't think my current wardrobe is up to the task!
Welcome to the world of winter running. If nothing else, it builds character. Invest in a quality pair of running tights, a long-sleeve shell that will wick away sweat and keep you dry, a lightweight jacket, thermal gloves, thermal headband, sunglasses, cap, and tons of Chapstick. Good luck out there!
