One of my favorite marathon traditions is the pre-run shopping trip. I always purchase a new outfit to wear on Race Day. In 2006 I wore pale blue, and in 2007, hot pink. Today I swung by Old Navy on Sixth Avenue to pick up some tanks (boring) with no intention of buying anything else. One hour and just seventy dollars later I walked out with three new outfits. Runners! This place is a hidden treasure box full of cute and inexpensive fitness garb. So what do you think? Should I wear fuschia or violet or tangerine this Saturday?
