Diane Von Furstenberg’s collection for spring 2010 has been my favorite show yet, and I have seen fourteen shows in the past five days so it had plenty of competition.
The tee shirt, the draped tank dress, the stacks of Day-Glo bangles, the filigree laurel headdress, and the overall island vibe all lend themselves to the sort of laid-back summery glamour that I like most. It is sunny, optimistic, athletic, and sexy. The fashion I love does not require a lot of brain power. It just happens. That’s why this collection appeals so much to me.
