Inconsiderate homeowners who do not trim the branches on their trees but allow them to droop over the sidewalk. WHACK.
Cyclists on the sidewalk. You are controlling a moving vehicle - USE THE STREET.
Cyclists on the sidewalk who don't swerve but make ME get out of the way when we pass one another. Inconsiderate!
Skanky dudes who honk at me. Has that ever worked to get a date?
People who laugh at me or otherwise make fun of me from behind their car windows for running in severe heat or cold.
Drivers who pretend to "swerve" their cars or SUVs in my direction, as if to see how high I will jump in fear. (It happens more than you think.)
Friends who say, "I saw you running the other day, but you didn't say hi." ROLL DOWN YOUR WINDOW AND YELL AT ME. Otherwise, sorry! I was in the zone.
Runners who feel somehow superior because they get their six miles in before daybreak. Who cares if I wait till evening? I still beat you in that 5-K last weekend.
Recreational runners who claim to train for or to have just completed a marathon when in fact it is/was only a half. 13.1 miles is a long distance...unless you have actually finished all 26.2!
